Like a bit of star gazing? You’ve probably heard of the Star Chart app – just hold your phone up to the sky and the app tells you what you’re looking at, whether it’s a star or a planet.
StarChart has just been released for Windows Phone. ‘So what?’ I hear you cry? Well, this version has none of the jitters or judders you might have experienced on other platforms and demonstrates just how good a bit of augmented reality can be. There’s a time warp feature that shows how planets move over time and a 3D planets feature that lets you travel to other planets and see things like the rings of Saturn.
