The Wired Mind

Tag clouds are rarely used as a primary navigational device but as a familiar tool used on the web they can make for alternative, and sometimes playful interfaces. This one, built by UK digital agency Splendid, is an HTML5 implementation on Wired.co.uk allowing users to browse tagged content leading to the actual article from the Wired archives. A great way to discover related content and nice to be able to send links to certain tags to other people.

Take a look at The Wired Mind, browse around, poke, prod and play.Be warned: It was built to run on Internet Explorer 9, so other browsers may get lower frame rates.
