Angry Birds to sync across devices

Angry Birds is undoubtedly one of the most popular games ever. With millions of downloads of the game across a wide variety of platforms (and Windows Phone 7 to come soon) the game dominates app stores constantly.

A common request with multiplatform games is to have syncing compatibility across the platforms. This is rarely a big issue with major consoles, but with apps it is becoming a more common issue as users tend to have a variety of different devices, running different types of OS.

Imagine you own a PC, an Android phone and an iPad. You would have to start Angry Birds on each device from the very beginning, even if you have completed the game before on another device. Part of the fun for some, but just in case you’d like to sync across the devices you needn’t worry – as a tweet from Rovio appears to confirm this feature is on the way.

Fantastic news. Now we can look forward to the Windows Phone and PC version knowing sync will be on the way.
