I smell a meme… Hello? Is it me you’re looking for?

This gem landed in my rss feeds this morning thanks to CubicleBot, and to be honest, I would love this to become the next RickRoll. I was introduced to this video, also known as the best music video of all time ever, in my first year of uni during a late night/early morning MTV session. The narrative brought tears to my eyes, whilst the cinematography made me want to switch into a screen production degree. This kind of art doesn’t really happen anymore with the humble music video. We no longer see the calibre of Michael Jackson’s epic Remember the Time or Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse gracing our television screens.

Suffice it to say, I was impressed.

So, while we’re lining up our Hello signs in Word and printing them, let’s reminisce and go back to a time when music videos were an art

Lame. You can’t start a meme as blatantly as that.

He’s not starting it, merely reposting it…
