What we’re up to at Le Web

If you’ve met us at any conferences over the past six months, you’ll know that we always like to do something new when we head along to events. In the past we’ve had sketch artists, ma-hoo-sive printers printing out tweets on canvas and a rather special photo booth (overtaken by critters of course).

We’ve also done our fair share of Foursquare deals when we attach ourselves to the Microsoft Stalls at events, giving away everything from swanky canvas bags and t-shirts to free coffee, which, let’s face it, is a must at any conference. For Le Web we wanted to do something a bit special, and considering we’ve become quite fond of Foursquare, we’ve decided to pay a little homage to them.

While we’re at Le Web, we’ll be setting up shop at two stalls… The Microsoft Stall, where we will be showcasing BizSpark One companies, as well as smatterings of Windows Phone 7, Azure and FUSE Labs. We’ll also be at the What Ya Like? Stall, where we will be talking about Microsoft WebMatrix, showcasing some of our CMS partners (I’ve also heard they’re doing some great giveaways of their own, as well as some tasty cookies).

So, if you’re around on Wednesday and Thursday, have a look for our stalls on Foursquare. Check in, come and show us your unlocked special and we’ll give you one of eight exclusive Foursquare-style badges. Both stalls are carrying four different badges, so make sure you visit both!

We’ve given you a bit of a sneak peek below…

Looking forward to seeing you there!
