DotNetNuke will be attending Le Web. Let’s get to know them…
Who are DotNetNuke?
In a sentence: the most widely adopted CMS platform for site and web apps on .NET. They specialise in web sites, intranets and web apps and have three tiers of offerings: Community (free), Professional and Enterprise (subscription) with an Elite Support option.
What’s brilliant about DotNetNuke?
They’re incredibly popular, have tons of customers, and just released a new version. It’s the fastest growing open source CMS with nearly 1000 subscription customers, 33,000 Snowcovered marketplace customers and 400% year on year growth. It’s also incredibly flexible with over 8000 commercial apps and a powerful open API to develop custom extensions.
DNN recently released version 5.6 which includes a config manager, default CSS optimisation for designers, advanced SEO, HTML module content locking, hierarchical workflow delegation and loads more. Their next release will be DotNetNuke 6 which, from what’ we’ve heard so far, will be a real game-changer.
They’re also the first Open Source Content Management System to be approved as a standard for the State of Kentucky
