Halo costumes that took 3 years to make

So I realise I missed Halloween by about two weeks in order for this post to be entirely relevant, but this is too cool to pass up. A couple of days ago, Unreality mag did a feature on a bunch of friends who decided three years ago that they would create a team of Halo costumes for Halloween. In an extra level of nerdiness, the costumes weren’t only Halo costumes, but specifically from the web series Red vs Blue. In a word, awesome.

Fast forward three years, and they finally finished the costumes and donned them for Halloween 2010.

With that kind of commitment and perseverance, one part of me is thinking that is beyond awesome. However, another part is wondering whether the time could have been spent doing something a little more worthwhile…

On second thoughts, no it definitely couldn’t.

Head over to the instigator’s blog for more photos of the brilliant madness…

The halo 3 costume(Poodle Skirt) which I purchased for my kid from dressy costumes was really very nice. And the other costumes are also very nice and reasonable. Thanks
