Events–Future of Web Apps 2010

FOWA logoPhew – just back from Brighton for #FOTB and now getting ready to head to the Big Smoke on Monday for Future of Web Apps.

Underbelly will be bringing the usual Microsoft suspects (see below) along – plus we’ll be joined by Umbraco, so it’s a full house from us on 4th and 5th. We’ll be bringing some Xbox 360’s, some Windows Phone 7 prototypes and some canvas stuff and a very large printer along with us (all will be revealed) – if you use Foursquare, look us up when you get there and you could grab yourself some canvas related swag.

Oh – and as the event’s being held in The Brewery, we thought it would be rude not to sponsor the beers on Monday night.

We’re looking out for Mike McDerment and his session on ‘Marketing your web app’, ‘All that glitters is not gold’ from Eoghan McCabe and Des Traynor and ‘ How To Get People To Pay For What’s Already Free’ from Eileen Burbridge and Linus Olssen. And that’s just Monday’s sessions…

Who’s going to be there? Here’s a quick introduction:

  • Alexandria Ball: Marketing guru known for her loud laugh and artistic abilities
  • Andrew Spooner: Creative technologist on the lookout for likeminded individuals
  • Mark Quirk: IE9 technical expert and demo master extraordinaire
  • Martin Beeby: Windows Phone 7 and IE9 technical wizard
  • Sara Allison: Underbelly roving reporter, on the hunt for willing interviewees

See you there – or online! Smile
