Angry Mango nominated for BAFTA for Windows Phone 7 Game

Young games designers Angry Mango are hurtling towards success a mere 6 months after launching the company. Winners of Dare to be Digital and participants of Microsoft’s XNA Games Camp X48 with their game Mush, they’ve now been nominated for a BAFTA, no less. And all but one are still at Uni. Blimey!

I managed to catch up with 3 of the 5 team members that make up Angry Mango at 24 London where they were showcasing Mush, and a very modest group of blokes they are too. They took me through a demo and finally explained the reasoning behind the name of their company. Far from being down to their personality traits and love of exotic fruits, it was a simple suggestion by fellow Mango Kate that won out, time being of the essence and all that. Here they are!
