Code Generation 2010, new Xbox 360 launched and Umbraco 4.1 is out

Code Generation 2010 is on 16-18 June in Cambridge and is billed as ‘Europe’s leading event on Domain-Specific Languages, Model-Driven Software Development and Code Generation’. Keynote speakers include Dave Thomas (Pragmatic Programmers) and Eelco Visser (Delft University of Technology).

The new Xbox 360 was announced during E3 yesterday, sporting a 250 GB hard drive, built-in Wi-Fi and, most importantly, ready for Kinect right out of the box (Kinect will be launched in November this year). Yeehah!

Umbraco 4.1RC is out after 18 months of hard work, the biggest update to Umbraco boasts an updated XML Schema ensuring higher performance, completely new Back Office tree with caching and much clever loading of data and heavily reduced http requests and SQL queries.
